- In-person interactions when we perform mobile mechanic services, shop services, pre-purchase inspections, or related work;

02Information we collect
Information you provide directly
- Contact information: name, phone number, email address, mailing address.
- Vehicle information: year, make, model, VIN, license plate, mileage, condition, service history, photos.
- Service information: the work you request, symptoms you describe, parts preferences, scheduling, location of service.
- Payment information: when you pay us, payments are processed through third-party processors. We do not store full credit card numbers on our systems.
- Communications: messages, voicemails, photos, and notes from our conversations with you.

04SMS and text messaging
How you opt in
You opt in to receive SMS messages from Supercanic when you:
- Provide your mobile number on a form on our website and check the SMS consent box;
- Provide your number directly to us by phone, text, or in person and indicate you'd like text updates;
- Reply to a text from us in a way that continues the conversation.
Consent to SMS is never a condition of purchase.
What we send
- Appointment confirmations, reminders, and rescheduling messages;
- "On the way" notifications when your mechanic is en route;
- Service status updates, estimates, and invoices;
- Pickup-ready notifications;
- Review requests after service is completed;
- Occasional service-related promotions (only with separate consent).
Frequency, cost, and opt-out
- Frequency: message frequency varies. Most customers receive between 2 and 10 messages per service visit.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
- Opt out: reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe from all SMS communications. Reply HELP for assistance.
05When we share information
We share information only as needed to operate our business. The categories of recipients are:
- Service providers: companies that help us deliver services (SMS providers, payment processors, scheduling software, cloud hosting, analytics, parts suppliers when needed for a specific repair). These providers are contractually limited to using your information only for the services they provide to us.
- Subcontractors and dispatched technicians: when we dispatch a mobile technician to your location, we share the information they need to complete the job (contact information, vehicle, address, service description).
- Legal and regulatory: when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to cooperate with the California Bureau of Automotive Repair or other lawful inquiry.
- Safety and rights: to investigate fraud, protect our property, or address threats to safety.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
