1. Pop the hood and locate the airbox — the large black plastic housing connected to the intake tube.
2. Release the clips (or back out the screws) holding the airbox lid.
3. Lift the lid and note how the old filter sits — orientation matters.
4. Remove the old filter and wipe out any leaves or dust in the housing.
5. Seat the new filter the same way the old one came out, sealing edge down.
6. Re-clip or re-screw the lid, making sure it sits flush so it seals.
7. Close the hood. That's it — no reset needed on most vehicles.
