Quotes, written approvals, parts, manuals, texting, invoices and payment in one place. We built it inside our own mobile shop, we run on it every day, and we only sell it to independents. Dealer level tools for a little under $5 a day.
A quote goes out. The customer taps yes on their phone. The job lands on the board. The invoice gets paid. That is the loop your shop lives in, and this is it running.
Real screens from a real shop. Names and plates are changed. Watch it on YouTube.
Supercanic is a working mobile repair shop in San Jacinto, California. Every screen in Shop Desk exists because the shop needed it that week.
The desk is not a demo somebody hopes to sell you. It runs our own bays every day, and it is the reason a quote goes out in minutes instead of at the end of the night.
We do not sell to dealer groups or national chains. We fight for one truck outfits, family counters and the shops that close when somebody gets sick.
Vehicle history, inspections with photos, written approvals, payroll, texting and payment. Pro is $149 a month. That is a little under $5 a day.
The dashboard on a phone. Every screenshot on this page is a phone, because that is where the work happens.
The top of the desk is one line of numbers. Calls nobody answered. Quotes drafted and not sent. Quotes sent and not approved. Booked. In the bay. Finished and not billed.
Tap a number and you get the list behind it. That is the whole idea. You are not hunting through a calendar to work out what is going wrong today. The screen tells you, and the list is the work.
It runs in a browser on a phone, a tablet in the bay or the laptop at the counter. There is nothing to install and no server in your shop.
The desk drafts the quote from what the customer told you and what the tech found. You set the labor rate once and it prices from it. Parts carry your cost and your markup, not a number off the internet.
The customer gets one page on their phone with the photos attached to each line. They tap yes and sign. That signature is on file, with the time it happened, so a comeback is a record and not an argument.
Nothing gets scheduled before that yes. The job cannot skip the step, which is the point.
The quote as the customer reads it. Every line says what it is and what it costs.
A missed call at ten past six. The answer went out 44 seconds later, and the job was on the board by morning.
Every shop on Pro gets its own texting number. When a call rings out, the desk texts that caller back within a minute and asks the two questions you would have asked. What is it doing, and what is the vehicle.
It keeps the thread going, writes the answers onto an enquiry, and hands over to a person the moment it cannot answer honestly. It never quotes a price nobody approved.
Customer texts relay to your cell, and your reply goes back out on the shop line, so your personal number stays yours.
Drivers get their own line too. Text a car question to 413 288 6349 and a repair AI that knows the vehicle answers in about a minute. The first answers are free. It is the same engine your techs use inside the desk.
Search a part from inside the job. The desk shows your trade counters first, in the order you actually buy, and folds the online sellers behind a button for the days you need them.
It remembers what you paid last time, so the next quote prices itself. Cores are tracked instead of forgotten. A price only goes on a customer line when your real cost is known, because running a street price through a markup is how a shop quotes retail plus 35 percent by accident.
The job sheet the tech works from, with the parts and the history on the same screen.
Every car you touch keeps its own record, and the lookups sit on it.
Pick the year, make and model and the desk pulls the open recalls and the owner complaints straight from the federal database, then opens the manual sources for that vehicle. It is free on both plans, including the free one.
The repair AI has read the service information and answers in plain words. Ask it what causes a code on this exact engine, what to check first, or how long a job should take. It suggests a labor time and you accept it or change it. It is a suggestion, never a price.
Free accounts get 25 answers a month. Pro is unlimited.
One text opens their garage page. No app and no password. They see the stage the job is at, the photos your tech took, the price before the work starts and the receipt after.
One customer, one truck. Open this exact page yourself below.
The fleet version. Every van, every job, one page for the office manager.
Both are live demo pages with an invented customer, so nobody real is on a screen.
The invoice is built from the job that was approved, so the total the customer agreed to is the total they are billed. Payment closes the job on its own. Nothing sits finished and unbilled unless you let it.
Payroll runs off the same jobs. Flat rate, hourly or commission, per technician, calculated from the work that actually went out the door. Parts deposits and fees are tracked separately so a storage charge never quietly pays somebody commission.
Card payments run through Authorize.net on your own gateway. That takes a short setup call with us, and we say so plainly further down this page.
Every job, every stage, on one list.
We build this week what shops asked for last week. If something in your shop is still on paper, in a group chat or in your head, tell us. It goes on the list and you get told when it ships.
Pro shops get a managed website and a Google Business Profile we look after, plus a profile on MechanicRank, the mechanic directory we run. The software holds the work. This is where the work comes from.
Your services, your towns, your photos, written to rank. We build it, we host it, and we keep it current while you are in the bay.
Hours, services, photos and posts kept up to date, because the profile is what most people see before the site.
Your MechanicRank profile is free and stays free on both plans. Pro shops are also eligible for jobs we dispatch.
We publish the dates so you can tell stale from honest.
Figures read from production on 15 September 2026, and from Search Console on 13 September 2026. The 4,497 texts and 468 calls inside that fifth number were handled on lines the desk answers.
Our own shop has run on Shop Desk every day since the rebuild. Outside shops started signing up this month. The first one is a solo owner operator in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, who is the counter and the tech at the same time. In his first week he wrote two jobs, priced one at $1,455.73, took ten photographs at the car and sent the quote from the driveway.
That shape, one person wearing both hats, is what we design for. A feature that only works when you have separate service advisors is a feature most shops here will never reach.
No card is taken at sign up on either plan. Pro works out at a little under $5 a day, which is less than the shop spends on coffee.
Subscription terms are in our terms. Cancel at the end of any month.
Four doors, all free, none of them asks for a card or an email.
Labor guides are links to your own account. Shop Desk opens ProDemand and ALLDATA from inside the job, but they are portals you log into, not a feed we resell. You need your own subscription. What we add is an AI suggested labor time you accept or edit.
You cannot take cards on day one. Card payments need your shop on its own payment gateway, and that is a short setup call with us rather than a checkbox. The desk refuses to bill a card against another shop's account on purpose, because the alternative is money landing in the wrong place.
Everything else on this page works the day you sign up.
Yes. It is free for as long as you want it, it holds 100 customers with their full history, and no card is taken when you sign up. We would rather you outgrow it than be trapped in it.
Every screenshot on this page is a phone. The desk was built for people working out of a van, so the phone is the main tool and the laptop is the spare.
No. Start with the next car that comes in. If you want your history moved we will talk about it, and we have done it before from a system that was shutting down.
It is yours. Ask and we hand it over. There is no notice period and no contract to get out of.
No. Your customers are yours. The directory sends work to shops, it does not take work from them.
We do, and we are a working shop, so we have had the same bad morning you are having.
None of this is live yet. It is here because you should know what is coming before you pick a plan, and because half of it came from shops asking.
Free plan, no card, and the first quote you send from your phone will tell you more than this page did.
It goes on the list. If we build it we will tell you it shipped.
