What Wildomar Calls Us For

Small jobs like a hose swap and bigger ones like a mount or bearing. All at your house.

🔩

Wheel Bearings

Humming that gets louder with speed is usually a bearing. We find which one and replace the bearing or hub.

🔧

Engine Mounts

A clunk when you shift or a shake at idle often means a broken mount. We replace motor and transmission mounts.

🌡️

Hoses & Cooling

Cracked radiator and heater hoses, coolant flushes and other cooling repairs.

🛑

Brake Service

Bundy Canyon grades wear pads fast. We inspect the brakes and replace what's worn.

About Our Wildomar Services

A Young City Still Growing

Wildomar became a city in 2008 and it's still growing fast. It sits between Lake Elsinore and Murrieta, with the I-15 right through the middle. New houses keep going up along Clinton Keith Road and Bundy Canyon Road. We work in the brand-new tracts, at the older homes off the side roads, and around a lot of construction. Anthony and David take most of the jobs out here.

Most drivers here either take the I-15 to work every day, south to San Diego or up the corridor, or they mostly stay between Bundy Canyon and Clinton Keith. The maintenance schedule is a little different for each.

Bundy Canyon and Hilly Driving

Bundy Canyon Road and the streets off it have some of the steepest grades in southwestern Riverside County. Driving up and down those hills every day wears out brake pads faster than flat driving, and it heats up transmission fluid. We suggest a brake inspection every 12,000 to 15,000 miles for hill-area residents, and a transmission fluid check at 60,000 miles.

Hills show you when the suspension is tired. Shocks and struts that feel fine on flat ground get bouncy on a grade. Our suspension service covers shocks, struts, ball joints, tie rods and control arms, and we do it at your home.

Clinton Keith Growth and Commuter Cars

Most of the new growth is along Clinton Keith Road. With the new shopping centers, restaurants and the I-15 interchange, it's the busiest street in town. If you take it to the freeway and on to San Diego every day, the miles add up fast. Commuters call us most for transmission service and cooling system service.

If you're buying a used car, we can do a pre-purchase inspection at the seller's place. It costs a lot less than buying a car with problems, and plenty of used cars change hands in a town growing this fast. A lot of Wildomar buyers call us before they sign.

Murrieta Creek and Older Wildomar

Parts of Wildomar are older, like the rural streets near Murrieta Creek and the neighborhoods that were here before the new tracts. Many of the cars there are old enough to need real work. Our engine repair service covers head gaskets, timing belts, valve cover gaskets, and oil pan reseals on older vehicles. We also get a lot of electrical diagnostics calls for charging problems and cars that only sometimes won't start.

We also do oil changes, timing belt and chain work, full computer scans, and diesel repair. If you get stuck on the I-15, call for roadside assistance.

Wildomar FAQ

Common Wildomar Questions

How far is Wildomar from your shop?

Wildomar is about 30 miles southwest of our San Jacinto shop. The drive takes around 40 minutes via Highway 74 and the 15. We have jobs out here regularly.

My car shifts hard after my San Diego commute. What's wrong?

Usually transmission fluid that has gotten too hot. Daily I-15 commuting through Wildomar and down to San Diego heats fluid past its safe range. We suggest a fluid check and maybe a flush. We can do both at your home.

How often should I do brakes if I drive Bundy Canyon every day?

Plan on a brake inspection every 12,000 to 15,000 miles. Hill driving is harder on pads than flat-ground driving. Pads typically last 30,000 to 45,000 miles for hill-area residents instead of 50,000 to 70,000 for flat-ground commuters.

Can you do a pre-purchase inspection at the seller's location in Wildomar?

Yes. We get a lot of pre-purchase inspection calls in growing towns like this one. Anthony or David meets you at the seller's home or the used car lot, goes over the car in about an hour, and tells you what shape it's really in.

My new house has a brand-new garage. Can you work in there?

Yes, if it has space. We bring our own absorbent mats to keep oil and fluid off the garage floor, and we work clean. If your driveway has more space than your garage, that often works better for bigger jobs.

Do you also serve Lake Elsinore and Murrieta?

Yes. Both are immediately adjacent to Wildomar. Lake Elsinore is to the north, Murrieta is to the south, and many of our Wildomar customers also have family or work in those nearby cities.
