The Empire Polo Club hosts both Coachella and Stagecoach in April. The rest of the year Indio is a working town. Date farms still stretch across the south side. The Indio Fairgrounds host the National Date Festival each February. Traffic on Highway 111 rarely lets up. We go to homes, businesses, hotels and, when needed, festival campgrounds.

Indio is about 70 miles east of our San Jacinto shop. The drive takes around 1 hour and 25 minutes via I-10 East. Most Indio service calls get a visit the same day or the next day.

Can you come to the Empire Polo Club during Coachella or Stagecoach?

Yes. We take emergency calls in the festival camping areas and nearby parking lots on festival weekends. Call early, because those days get busy. Common calls are dead batteries, AC failures, flat tires, and cars that overheated in the camping lots.

Why does my AC stop blowing cold in Indio's summer heat?

The most common cause is a low refrigerant charge from a slow leak, but in Indio we also see a lot of failed condenser fans and clutches that cannot keep up with 115-degree ambient air. We can test the system at your home, find the cause, and recharge or repair on-site in most cases.

How often should I change my air filter living near date farms?
