About Our Jurupa Valley Services

Built for Jurupa Valley Roads

The city runs from the rocky base of Mount Rubidoux out past Mira Loma. In between there are horse properties, ag land, warehouses near the I-15 and new tract homes. We work at all of them. A ranch driveway on a dirt road gets the same tools and parts as a garage in a new subdivision or a fleet yard.

Plenty of shops won't send anyone to a property with horses, livestock or unpaved access. We will. Fixing the truck where it sits saves you the tow, and you don't have to move ranch chores around a shop drop-off.

Trucks, Trailers, and Working Vehicles

A lot of trucks out here work for a living. They haul horses, hay, dirt and equipment, and that load wears on suspension, brakes and cooling systems. We do brake service on three-quarter and one-ton trucks, including dual-rear-wheel work, and our cooling system service covers the larger radiators and transmission coolers found on tow vehicles. Diesel repair is also available for the heavy-duty trucks common around Limonite and Granite Hill.

We can also check bearings, brakes and lights on your horse trailer or utility trailer at your property. When a trailer quits on the way to a show or the feed store, the errand turns into the whole day. Bearing service every couple of years costs far less than that.

Dust, Dirt Roads, and Air Filters

Lots of properties here have long unpaved driveways or back up to open ag land. Dust clogs air filters fast, and a clogged filter costs you fuel mileage and power. We check your engine air filter and cabin air filter during any oil change and carry common filters in the truck so we can swap on the spot.

Fine dirt works its way into wheel bearings, ball joints and CV boots too. A click when you turn, or a hum that gets louder with speed, is worth a call. Our suspension service covers ball joints, tie rods, control arms, shocks and struts, and we do that work at your home.

Daily Drivers and Commuter Cars

Plenty of people here drive the 60 to Riverside or Ontario every day, or head up the 15 to the warehouses and distribution centers around Eastvale and Mira Loma. Long commutes eat brakes and tires. Stop-and-go traffic heats up transmissions. We do transmission service, timing belt and chain work, electrical diagnostics, and full computer diagnostics at your home or office.

If you break down on the 60 or the 15, call for roadside assistance. Most engine repair, from spark plugs up to head gaskets, can be done on-site so you skip the tow.

Jurupa Valley Up Close

Jurupa Valley Neighborhood by Neighborhood

Jurupa Valley became a city on July 1, 2011, and it joined nine older communities into one, according to Wikipedia. It has 105,053 people and covers 43.68 square miles. Each community has its own streets, parking rules and kind of vehicle.

Two ZIP codes carry most of it. The shares below come from City Data, and a ZIP can reach into other places.

Jurupa Valley ZIP codes at a glance

People are 2024 estimates. The share column shows how much of each ZIP is the named community.

Jurupa Valley ZIP codes and the communities inside them
ZIPPeopleCommunities and share of the ZIPMobile homesMost homes built in

9175238,122Mira Loma 39.8 percent, Eastvale 13.9, Glen Avon 9.5, Norco 3.05372010s, 2,703 homes

Rubidoux and Mission Boulevard

Rubidoux is the biggest slice of 92509. The city's community page lists the Eddie Dee Smith Senior Center at 5888 Mission Boulevard and Flabob Airport on its things to do list. Parts of Olive Street and Leyburn Place need parking permits during school hours when Rubidoux High School is in session.

Plan around those hours. A visit on a school day should start with the right street and a legal spot, and a driveway beats the curb. City Data}) counts 2,995 homes from the 1950s in the ZIP, so older cars and older wiring often go together. Our electrical work covers dead batteries and starters on site.

Pedley

Pedley is 16.2 percent of 92509. The city says some areas use permit parking to manage vehicle congestion. In Pedley, residents must apply for new parking permit placards every other year, in odd years.

Crowded curbs mean door dings, curb rash and little room for a jack. A driveway or a lot is the better workspace. Tell us if your car is parked on a permit street, so we plan where to stand the truck and stay legal.

Glen Avon and Sunnyslope

Glen Avon makes up 21.1 percent of 92509 and 9.5 percent of 91752. Sunnyslope adds 4.7 percent. The ZIP has 4,772 homes built in the 1980s and 4,141 in the 1970s, per City Data. Homes that old often go with older cars.

High miles mean worn struts, leaky gaskets and aging cooling parts. If your temperature gauge creeps up in July, see our cooling system page. The Jurupa Area Recreation and Park District runs 30 parks, so many drivers make short trips to practices and games. Short trips are hard on batteries.

Mobile home communities

92509 holds 1,693 mobile homes and 91752 holds 537, per City Data. Residents in those communities often have shared lanes, assigned spaces and posted rules.

Ask the park manager whether outside repair is allowed before you book. When it is not, we can meet you at a friend's driveway or a workplace lot. Bring the make, year and what the car is doing, and we will quote it over the phone through our mobile mechanic line.

Mira Loma and the 91752 side

Mira Loma is the largest piece of 91752. City Data also lists Galleano Winery and Country Village Golf Course in the ZIP, and 2,703 homes built in the 2010s, more than any other decade. Eastvale is 13.9 percent of the same ZIP.

Newer homes mean newer cars. You are more likely to see tire pressure faults, sensor codes and early brake wear than failing old parts. Tracts often have HOA guest parking rules, so check before a visit. Swan Lake and Day Creek are also listed in this ZIP. Our Eastvale page covers the next town over.

Jurupa Hills, Indian Hills and Crestmore Heights

Wikipedia lists Jurupa Hills, Indian Hills and Crestmore Heights among the nine communities. The city's community page points to the Jurupa Mountains Discovery Center, and Crestmore Heights is 0.9 percent of 92509.

Streets here may have gates or long driveways. Give us the gate code or the cross streets when you call. Trucks that tow need their brakes checked more often than ones that do not.

Roads that wear cars out in Jurupa Valley

Per Wikipedia, the 15 forms the western edge of the city and the 60 runs along the north. Riverside County Transportation Commission broke ground in 2017 on express lanes for the 15. The $471 million project adds two lanes each way for about 15 miles from the 60 to Cajalco Road, through Eastvale, Jurupa Valley, Norco and Corona. City Hall sits at 8930 Limonite Avenue, a handy cross street.

Freeway miles bring tire wear and stone chips. Wikipedia lists a July average high of 93 degrees and a record of 110. Watch tires and coolant first.

Parking, theft and smog checks

The city runs a theft prevention page with a $2.2 million grant behind it. It says thieves can take a catalytic converter in under two minutes. It names hybrids as prime targets and says pickups and SUVs are easier because of higher ground clearance. It suggests parking in garages or adding anti theft shields. Read our catalytic converter cost guide if yours is gone.

For smog, the Bureau of Automotive Repair requires a check every other year for gas and hybrid cars from 1976 on. Cars eight model years old or newer skip it at renewal.

More Jurupa Valley Questions

Can a mobile mechanic work at my Jurupa Valley mobile home park?

Often yes, if the park allows it. Managers set the rules for lanes, noise and fluids. Ask first, then tell us the park name and the lot number. If the park says no, we can meet you at another driveway.

How can I protect my truck from catalytic converter theft in Jurupa Valley?

Park in a garage if you can. The city also suggests cameras, good lighting and anti theft shields for high risk vehicles. It says thieves can finish in under two minutes, and that pickups, SUVs and hybrids are common targets.

Is there permit parking in Pedley or Rubidoux?

Yes in some places. Pedley residents renew parking placards every odd year. Parts of Olive Street and Leyburn Place in Rubidoux need permits during school hours. See the city's parking page.

What do the 15 express lanes mean for my drive?

The project adds two express lanes each way for about 15 miles between the 60 and Cajalco Road. Regular lanes still carry most trucks, so brake and tire wear stay high. Check pads before long trips.

Jurupa Valley FAQ

Common Jurupa Valley Questions

How far is Jurupa Valley from your shop?

Jurupa Valley is about 35 miles northwest of our San Jacinto shop. The drive takes around 45 to 55 minutes via Highway 60. We are out here often, so most calls get done the same day or the next day.

Will you come to a property with a long dirt driveway or horses?

Yes. We service properties on dirt roads and horse ranches all across Jurupa Valley. Tell us about access and any gates when you book, and we will work around your animals and your schedule.

Can you inspect my horse trailer or utility trailer?

Yes. We can inspect bearings, brakes, lights, and tires on most light- and medium-duty trailers. We recommend a full bearing service every two to three years for trailers that get regular use.

Do you work on diesel trucks?

Yes. We service light-duty and three-quarter-ton diesels common around Jurupa Valley, including Cummins, Power Stroke, and Duramax. Mobile diesel work is limited to certain repairs, and we will tell you up front if a job needs the shop.

Do you serve Eastvale and the Riverside side of Jurupa Valley?

Yes. We cover all of Jurupa Valley, including Rubidoux, Glen Avon, Mira Loma, Sunnyslope, and Pedley. Eastvale and parts of greater Riverside are also part of our regular service area.

My check engine light is on but my truck runs fine. Should I worry?

It depends on the code. Some codes are minor, like a loose gas cap or a small evap leak, and some are serious, like a misfire or a failing catalytic converter. David or Raul can scan your truck at your home in about 15 minutes and tell you whether it is safe to keep driving.
