About Our San Jacinto Services

Right Next Door to Our Hemet Shop

San Jacinto is the sister city to Hemet, where our flagship shop is located. The two cities share a valley, a school district boundary, and a tightly woven population. Our mechanic Raul lives this geography every day. From any San Jacinto address, our shop is generally about 10 to 15 minutes away, which means same-day service is realistic for almost any San Jacinto call. If you need shop-level work like an engine swap, you can also drop by the Hemet shop and Robert's team will take care of you. Both cities get the Hemet local discount on labor.

San Jacinto has its own character that sets it apart from Hemet. The town is older, with deeper agricultural roots, and the houses spread out more. Mt San Jacinto rises sharply to the east. The San Jacinto Wildlife Area sits to the north. And the Ramona Bowl draws visitors every spring. Each of those features shapes how vehicles get used here.

Work Trucks and Older Vehicles

Many San Jacinto households still have at least one work truck. Pickups, dump trucks, and farm-style utility vehicles are common, and a lot of them have been around long enough to need real attention. Our diesel repair service covers light- and medium-duty diesels common in the valley. Cooling system service for old workhorses includes radiator pressure tests, water pump checks, and full coolant flushes, because nothing kills an old engine faster than chronic mild overheating.

For older gasoline trucks and cars, our engine repair covers head gaskets, valve cover gaskets, oil pan reseals, and timing chain work. We do not write off old trucks the way some shops do. If it can be fixed for a fair price, we will tell you so.

Mt San Jacinto Foothills and Suspension Wear

The east side of San Jacinto runs right up against the foothills of Mt San Jacinto. Streets in those neighborhoods have steeper grades than most of the valley floor, and that adds wear to brakes, suspension parts, and CV joints. We recommend an annual suspension inspection for vehicles that drive the foothill streets daily, especially trucks and SUVs that haven't had ball joints or tie rods replaced in a long time.

For drivers heading east on the 74 toward Idyllwild, brake fluid flushes are a good investment. The Highway 74 climb generates heat in brake systems, and old fluid boils before fresh fluid does.

Heat, Dust, and Oil Service

San Jacinto Valley summers run hot and dusty. Engine oil thins out faster than the standard schedule says, and air filters clog sooner than the dashboard reminder suggests. Our oil change service uses the right oil weight for valley heat, and we always check both engine and cabin air filters during the visit.

Raul also handles brake jobs, transmission service, timing belt and chain work, electrical diagnostics, and full computer scans at your home. Stuck somewhere on Esplanade or out on State Street? Roadside assistance is also available.

San Jacinto FAQ

Common San Jacinto Questions

How far is San Jacinto from your Hemet shop?

Most San Jacinto addresses are 10 to 15 minutes from our Hemet shop. The two cities share a valley and Raul covers San Jacinto every day. Same-day mobile service is realistic for almost every San Jacinto call.

Do San Jacinto residents get the Hemet local discount?

Yes. We treat San Jacinto and Hemet as one community, and the local discount on labor applies in both cities. Just mention you are local when you call.

Can you work on my old truck?

Yes. We work on older trucks and cars that some shops won't touch. If it can be fixed for a fair price, we will tell you so. Call (951) 904-2477 with the year, make, and what is going on.

My car overheats every time I drive up the foothills. What's wrong?

Most likely a tired water pump, a thermostat stuck partly closed, or a clogged radiator. Foothill driving reveals weak cooling systems faster than valley driving because the engine works harder. Raul can pressure test the system at your home and find the cause.

Do you do shop work in Hemet for big jobs?

Yes. For engine swaps, transmission rebuilds, and other major jobs, the Hemet shop is usually a better choice. Robert's team can take care of it there. We will tell you up front whether the shop or a mobile visit makes more sense.

Do you also serve Hemet and Menifee?

Yes. Hemet is right next door (the same valley), and Menifee is about 20 minutes south on Highway 79. Both are part of our regular service area.
