Our Riverside shop is the second hub for everything we do, alongside our flagship in Hemet. Riverside sits at the intersection of three major freeways, the 91, the 60, and the 215, and that puts us right at the center of the Inland Empire. Dusty runs the shop and oversees a mobile team that fans out from here across Jurupa Valley, Moreno Valley, Corona, and the rest of the surrounding cities.
Riverside has more variety per square mile than almost any other Inland Empire city. UC Riverside students drive 15-year-old Civics. Downtown professionals drive new SUVs to offices near the Mission Inn. Logistics workers drive trucks home to neighborhoods south of Magnolia. The shop sees all of it, and Dusty sets up service plans tailored to what each driver actually does.
The 91/60/215 interchange is one of the busiest in California. Riverside drivers who commute through it daily put more stop-and-go heat on their transmissions and more wear on their brakes than the average California driver. We see transmission service needs sooner than the factory schedule suggests, and brake jobs on commuter cars often come due at 25,000 to 35,000 miles instead of the highway-driving 50,000 to 70,000.
For drivers heading west on the 91 toward Orange County or south on the 215 toward Perris and beyond, we recommend a brake check every 10,000 to 15,000 miles and a transmission fluid service every 30,000 to 60,000 miles depending on the vehicle.
UC Riverside brings tens of thousands of students into the city, and most of them drive older, higher-mileage cars. We get a lot of UCR student traffic for affordable repairs that keep an aging Civic, Corolla, or Sentra on the road through finals week. Common student requests include engine repair for misfires and oil leaks, electrical diagnostics for cars that won't start in cold mornings, timing belt service, and inexpensive oil changes with full inspections.
For students worried about being stranded between Riverside and home, we also offer roadside assistance across the Inland Empire. Better to call us than sit on the shoulder of the 91 with a dead battery during midterms.
Riverside has a strong base of small and mid-size businesses that run small fleets, including delivery vans, plumbing trucks, HVAC service trucks, landscaping rigs, and food trucks. Dusty runs scheduled fleet service out of the shop with priority turnaround, multi-vehicle scheduling, and bulk pricing on routine work like oil changes and brake jobs. Diesel repair is also available for the larger trucks in fleet rotations.
If you run a fleet of 3 to 30 vehicles, give us a call. Fleet downtime is expensive, and our shop is set up to keep your trucks moving.
You have two ways to use Supercanic in Riverside. Bring your vehicle to the shop, where walk-ins are welcome and Dusty's team can usually get to it the same day. Or use our mobile mechanic service and have a tech come to your home or office. The same prices apply either way, and Dusty oversees both. We also handle cooling system service, suspension repair, and full computer diagnostics.
Our Riverside shop is centrally located in the city, accessible from the 91, 60, and 215 freeways. Call (951) 720-3622 for the exact address and directions. Walk-ins are welcome during business hours.
The Riverside shop is about 35 miles northwest of our Hemet shop, roughly 45 minutes via Highway 60 and the 215. We coordinate work between the two locations whenever it helps the customer.
Call us and mention you are a UCR student. We try to keep things affordable for students dealing with older vehicles and tight budgets, especially around finals week and summer travel.
